Have you ever wanted to go to a Cafe that was more than just a Cafe? Then Drink Shop & Do is the right place for you! It is a cafe by day and bar by night. And more importantly they host random events every day which are mostly crafts- and dance-oriented. For example they might do an event on how to make father days card or teach you the moves to Beyonce’s “Run the World” song. The list is endless! In the shop entrance you can find yarn, sweets and many products from independent designers that you can buy. Upstairs in the cafe bar area you can also buy the vintage furniture, portraits on the wall and even the tea spoon!?It really is a unique little place!
I did my birthday party at Drink Shop & Do ( thanks to my friend who recommended this place to me) and reserved a table for my friends and I, but you can also hire the venue for private parties, hen do’s etc.
The cafe menu is quite simple and limited; they have soups, salads, cheese and charcuterie boards and sandwiches, but it’s amazing! We all choose something different from the menu and it was all so tasty!! I think I had the “Sweet potato & coconut curry with rice & coriander salad” and it was yummy! I would definitely recommend it!
Especially their cakes which are displayed on the counter are mad with a lot of effort and so good! I tried the Butterscotch Pecan Cheesecake and seriously it was so good! Probably one of the best cakes I have ever tried and I have tried some!
As a tea addict I was really excited to try their tea. The selection of teas offered by Drink Shop & Do is excellent, and they are presented in pretty teacups.
Recently I developed a strong love for Earl Grey and so I was excited to try their ” Duchess Earl Grey“. When the tea came I was shocked because you got a whole can tea pot to yourself, which probably gives you about 3-4 refills!
We had an amazing time at Drink Shop & Do and I seriously can’t wait to go back for some more tea and food and an event!!
